3M Declares Quarterly Dividend

    ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 2005--3M has declared a quarterly dividend of 42 cents per share, payable June 12, to shareholders of record on May 20. This is the 355th consecutive quarterly dividend on 3M stock.
    As of March 31, 2005, the company had 769,570,205 common shares outstanding and 126,957 shareholders of record.
