FDA Approves Two New Medtronic Cardiac Devices with Conexus(TM) Wireless Telemetry
Demo of the Concerto(TM) Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy-Defibrillator (CRT-D) and Virtuoso(TM) ImplantableCardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) on Site Thursday at Heart Rhythm 2006
What: Media briefing and live demonstrations of the newest cardiac
rhythm disease management technologies, including the newest
devices - Concerto CRT-D and Virtuoso ICD - with wireless
technology just approved by the FDA by:
George Crossley, MD
Chief of Electrophysiology, Baptist Hospital
President and Chief Executive Officer, Mid-State
Cardiology Clinical investigator that helped study the
new devices with Conexus(TM) Wireless Telemetry
Also available to broadcast media:
A video news package and B-roll featuring:
-- Heart patient who just received one of the newly
approved heart devices: the Concerto(TM) CRT-D as
part of a clinical study
-- Interview with a Concerto CRT-D implanter, George
Crossley, MD
