xpedx Launches Expansion of Vector Business Imaging Papers Line: New Brightness, New Products, Full National Availability

xpedx today announced a major quality and value improvement to itspopular cut-size Vector Multi-Purpose business imaging papers line.xpedx has increased the paper's brightness to 92, up from 84, whichgreatly improves print quality and readability.

xpedx also said that it expanded the Vector line to include newlaser cut sheets, computer paper and copier tabs. These join theline's multipurpose, coated laser and DI coated offset papers. Allpapers are stocked at 250 xpedx merchant house locations and paperstores across the U.S.

The new Vector Laser Cut Sheets are used by printers andbusinesses to create custom collateral--from reports to charts, formsto booklets. Pre-punched and perforated, they are for use on laser andinkjet printers and high-speed copiers. Security paper is available toprotect documents that the creator doesn't want copied.

The new Vector Computer Paper is made from highest quality basestock and is available in a variety of weights and sizes. It targetssmall businesses to large financial institutions. The new VectorCopier Tabs are easily collated for a wide variety of index tabapplications.

All Vector papers are precision sheeted and have been widelytested on most major OEM printing equipment, including laser andinkjet printers, plain-paper fax machines, high-speed copiers, offsetpresses and direct imaging presses.

Vector was launched earlier this year with the following products:

-- Vector Coated Laser. This sheet targets mid- and high-volume production printers with copy and laser applications. The 90-bright sheets feature a blue-white shade and are available in gloss or dull finishes for color or black and white projects. Custom sizes are available in low order minimums.

-- Vector DI Coated Offset. This sheet features an 87-brightness and is available in gloss and matte finishes for vibrant four-color prints on equipment including Ryobi, Heidelberg and Kodak DI presses. The smooth surface and ink holdout deliver excellent print results at an economical price point. Custom sizes are also available in low order minimums.

-- Vector Multi-Purpose Paper. Now with 92-brightness, this sheet is designed for excellent performance on laser and inkjet printers, high-speed copiers and plain-paper faxes. With affordable pricing and ready availability in standard sizes, this 20-lb. sheet is well suited for everyday document production.
