Prudential Annuities Appoints Brad Powell to Manage Bank Sales

Prudential Annuities, the domestic annuity business forPrudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU), announced today theappointment of Bradley Powell as National Sales Manager for the Bankchannel. Powell was most recently with Jackson National where heserved as President of the Institutional Marketing Group withresponsibility for all aspects of bank annuity distribution.

Prudential recently affirmed its commitment to distribution ofannuities through banks and wirehouses with the creation of dedicatedwholesaling teams and the appointment of Alex MacGillivray, asnational sales director for Banks and Wirehouses. Powell will reportto MacGillivray.
