HarperCollins Publishers and Waterfront Media Join Forces to Develop and Market Personalized Content Online; Partnership Offers Authors Unique Platform for Building Their Brand

HarperCollins Publishers and Waterfront Media todayannounced they are joining forces to develop and market personalizedcontent online based on HarperCollins authors and their books. Thisrelationship will allow for an innovative extension of selectHarperCollins brands, providing a significant online platform. Thecollaboration also affords consumers exclusive access to customizedcontent from these bestselling authors, specific to the consumer'sindividual goals, on a subscription basis.

The joint effort kicks off with the launch ofhttp://www.jillianmichaels.com/, the site featuring HarperCollins'bestselling author Jillian Michaels (Winning by Losing).

Each program will provide consumers with a personalized,interactive, health or fitness program that augments the generalmethods presented in the authors' book. Subscribers will receive freshcontent each day about their specific areas of interest, and haveaccess to an array of interactive tools and online communities, wherethey can share information and do research.
