Former Administrative Assistant U.S. Attorney Joins Kroll's New York Office

Kroll, the global risk consulting company, today announced that John David Lenoir has joined the firm as a managing director in its Government Services division. Since 2002, Lenoir had been the Administrative Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, one of the largest and most active U.S. Attorney Offices in the nation. Lenoir was an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office before joining the Department of Justice in 1985. As an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Lenoir led major narcotics, money laundering and civil rights investigations and prosecutions in the Southern District of Texas, and served in Washington, D.C. as Counsel to the Director of the U.S. Marshals Service on special assignment after September 11, 2001. Based in Kroll’s New York City office, Lenoir will apply his extensive legal, investigative and management expertise to assist major government agency clients on a wide range of issues, including special investigations, litigation support and monitorships. "John’s experience with the Department of Justice as a prosecutor, counselor and administrator adds an exceptionally broad range of talent and expertise to our team,” said Jeffrey Schlanger, President of Kroll’s Government Services division. Lenoir holds a PhD in Anthropology, and was on the faculty of the City University of New York’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice prior to going to law school. He received his law degree at Rutgers University, Newark.
