Woolworths Limited -- Moody's: Aldi poses long-term challenge to Woolworths and Coles
Sydney, March 04, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service says that Aldi's penetration of Australia's supermarket sector has so far been mainly at the expense of Metcash's IGA chain and independent retailers, but does pose a long-term challenge to Woolworths Limited (A3 stable) and Coles, the grocery subsidiary of Wesfarmers Limited (A3 stable).
