Why IonQ Stock Is Soaring This Week
Shares of IonQ (NYSE: IONQ) are surging this week. The company's stock had gained 25% over the week as I write this. The strong performance easily outpaced the S&P 500's most chaotic week in years.A major quantum computing initiative from the Pentagon helped drive the stock higher.Late last week the U.S. military's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) announced it had selected 15 companies for its ambitious quantum computing program.
