VF Corp Bottom Line Advances 10% In Q3

(RTTNews) - VF Corp (VFC) announced earnings for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $503.03 million, or $1.20 per share. This was up from $457.64 million, or $1.06 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.15 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.1% to $3.49 billion. This was down from $3.53 billion last year.
