TI Profit Tops Estimate - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Texas Instruments Inc (TXN) Monday reported third-quarter profit of $826 million or $0.76 per share, compared with $629 million or $0.56 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $3.5 billion from $3.24 billion in the prior year. Analysts estimated revenues of $3.46 billion for the quarter.

For the fourth quarter, the company forecasts earnings of $0.64 to $0.74 per share and revenue of $3.13 billion to $3.39 billion. Analysts expect earnings of $0.63 per share on revenue of $3.25 billion.
