Starbucks Corp. Q4 Income Climbs 14%

(RTTNews) - Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) released earnings for its fourth quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $981.3 million, or $0.43 per share. This was up from $857.3 million, or $0.37 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.43 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 17.5% to $4.91 billion. This was up from $4.18 billion last year.
