Schering-Plough Appoints John Howell as General Manager, Brinny, Irela

KENILWORTH, N.J., April 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Schering-Plough Corporation today announced that John Howell has been appointed general manager of the manufacturing plant for Schering-Plough (Brinny) Company in Brinny, Ireland. He is based in Brinny and reports to Didier Colombeen, vice president, global supply chain, Europe Region.

Howell most recently served as plant manager for Schering-Plough Animal Health in Bray, Ireland. He came to the Bray facility in 2002, where he was instrumental in leading the site team in achieving significant improvements in customer delivery. Howell first joined Schering-Plough in 1990, working at the Brinny site in validation. He later held positions at Wyeth Medica and Aventis Pharma before returning to Schering-Plough.

Howell holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Limerick in Ireland.
