Progressive Corp. Reveals 47% Retreat In Q2 Profit

(RTTNews) - Progressive Corp. (PGR) released earnings for second quarter that fell from last year.

The company said its bottom line fell to $190.9 million, or $0.33 per share. This was down from $363.3 million, or $0.62 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 13.0% to $5.93 billion. This was up from $5.25 billion last year.
