Comcast Corp. (CMCSA) is up 1 percent to $59.94 based on the news that the company and Time Warner Cable Inc. (TWC) have mutually agreed to terminate their merger agreement. TWC is down 0.63 percent to $147.83.

Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) is up over 4 percent to $45.30 as its third quarter earnings per share and revenue topped Wall Street estimates.

Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) is surging 12 percent to $438.51. The company slipped to a loss in its first quarter, but topped Street view. Net sales increased 15 percent and also came above the consensus estimate. The company forecast second quarter net sales in-line with Street view.

Google Inc. (GOOGL) is up nearly 4 percent to $578.00. The company's first quarter earnings improved from the year-ago quarter, but missed Wall Street view. Revenues for the quarter increased 12 percent, yet were below the consensus estimate. The company said it continues to see great momentum in its mobile advertising business.

Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) is up 4 percent to $51.31. The company's second quarter profit surged from the last year quarter and was in-line with Street view. Revenues were up 18 percent and came above the consensus estimate. The company also backed its fiscal 2015 earnings and revenue targets.

eHealth, Inc. (EHTH) is surging 27 percent to $14.50 as its first quarter revenue improved 20 percent and came above the consensus estimate, driven by acceleration in Medicare commission revenue growth, better than expected Individual and Family Plan revenue and a continued expansion of its ancillary product business.

Mattel, Inc. (MAT) is gaining 4 percent to $30.00.

Decliners:

AstraZeneca PLC (AZN) is down 3 percent to $70.70 as its first quarter core net profit declined from the previous year period. Revenue for the quarter declined 6 percent on actual exchange rate basis and was up on CER. Product sales declined by 3 percent in the quarter.

Biogen Inc. (BIIB) is down 3 percent to $415.00 as its first quarter adjusted earnings per share and revenue missed Street view.

Xerox Corp. (XRX) is falling more than 4 percent to $12.55. The company's first quarter profit declined from the year-ago quarter, while its adjusted result matched Wall Street view. Total revenues declined 6 percent from the same quarter a year-ago. The company lowered its 2015 outlook as it expects increased currency headwinds, softer signings and acquisition timing to impact revenue.

Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AERI) is plunging 53 percent to $16.35 as its Phase 3 registration trial for Rhopressa did not meet its primary efficacy endpoint.
