NVIDIA To Invest Upto $100 Bln In OpenAI To Boost AI Infrastructure
(RTTNews) - NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA), Monday announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI to deploy at least 10 gigawatts of the company's systems for the latter's next-generation AI infrastructure to train and run its next generation of models on the path to deploying superintelligence.
As part of the deal, the company intends to invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI as the new NVIDIA systems are deployed.
Also, OpenAI will work with NVIDIA as a preferred strategic compute and networking partner for its AI factory growth plans.
The company added that the first phase is scheduled to come online in the second half of 2026 using the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform.
Currently, NVDA is trading at $182.13, up 3.14 percent on the Nasdaq.
