Media Advisory: Duke Energy's Jim Rogers and David Hauser to Host Company Road Show Dec. 6 in Connection With Spinoff

Hauser, group executive and chief financial officer, will outline Duke Energy's value proposition and growth strategies for 2007 and beyond, during the kick-off of an investor road show on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. ET.

Rogers is expected to be chairman, president and chief executive officer of Duke Energy, and Hauser will continue as group executive and chief financial officer following the anticipated spinoff of Duke Energy's natural gas businesses into a stand-alone, publicly traded company. The spinoff of the gas company, to be known as Spectra Energy, is targeted for Jan. 2, 2007. Spectra Energy will also be hosting its own road show in early December.
