KLA-Tencor Q4 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - KLA-Tencor Corp. (KLAC) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $142.0 million or $0.89 per share, compared to $128.7 million or $0.77 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the fourth quarter was $158.9 million or $0.99 per share, compared to $133.2 million or $0.80 per share in the prior year quarter.

Total revenue for the fourth quarter rose to $756.33 million from $734.34 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.91 per share on revenue of $751.72 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
