Ken Lacorte Named Vice President and Senior Executive Producer of Foxnews.com

Ken LaCorte has been named Vice President and Senior Executive Producer of Foxnews.com, announced Roger Ailes, Chairman and CEO, FOX News. LaCorte will report directly to John Moody, Senior Vice President, News Editorial for the network. In his new role, LaCorte will oversee all editorial content and design function of the website, while Foxnews.com General Manager Bert Solivan will continue to manage its business operations and maintain a working relationship with Fox Interactive Media. In making the announcement, Ailes said, "Ken’s impeccable editorial judgment and new media savvy will be an asset to the website. He is the ideal executive to grow Foxnews.com to the next level.” Prior to his promotion, LaCorte served as the Director of News Editorial since 2003, where he oversaw editorial content for news reporting under Moody's direction. He began his career at FOX News in 1998 as the Bureau Chief of the western region where he was responsible for editorial direction and management of news bureaus in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. During his tenure in this position, he oversaw coverage of numerous stories including the disappearance of Chandra Levy, the arrest and subsequent trial of Robert Blake, and the environmental series Vanishing Freedom. A graduate of Claremont McKenna College, LaCorte began his career as a communications specialist. FOX News Channel (FNC) is a 24-hour general news service covering breaking news as well as political, entertainment and business news. For more than four years, FNC has been the most watched cable news channel in the nation and currently presents nine out of the top ten programs in cable news. Owned by News Corp., FNC is available in more than 85 million homes.
