Intel Spending $250 Million On Self-driving Tech

(RTTNews) - Intel CEO Brian Krzanich has announced that the tech giant plans to invest more than $250 million to in autonomous driving technology.

During his a keynote address at the LA Auto Show's Automobility conference, Krzanich said Intel plans to "make fully autonomous driving a reality."

"These investments will drive the development of technologies that push the boundaries on next-generation connectivity, communication, context awareness, deep learning, security, safety and more," the company said in a statement.

Intel Capital, the company's investment arm, will spend more than $250 million over the next two years.
