Greif Provides Weak Q4, FY Sales Guidance

(RTTNews) - Greif Inc (GEF, GEF_B), an industrial packaging products company, said Wednesday it expects to report fourth-quarter revenues of $1.08 billion

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters currently expect the company to report revenues of $1.14 billion for the quarter.

The company expects fourth-quarter operating profit of $93 million and adjusted operating profit of $118 million.

For the full year 2014, Greif projects revenues of about $4.38 billion, while analysts expect revenues of $4.44 billion.

The company expects 2014 operating profit of $298 million and adjusted operating profit of $341 million.

GEF closed Wednesday at $45.16, down $0.88 or 1.91%, on the NYSE. In after hours, the stock dropped $0.68 or 1.51%.
