Franklin Covey Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Franklin Covey Co. (FC) Tuesday reported a sharp increase in profit for the third quarter, due mainly to higher revenues.

The Salt Lake City, Utah-based company's third-quarter net income was $2.1 million or $0.13 per share, compared to $1.6 million or $0.09 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Net sales for the latest third quarter grew 9% to $44.86 million from $41.27 million in the prior-year quarter.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.12 per share on revenue of $43.28 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
