Fiserv Inc. Q2 Earnings Climb 7%

(RTTNews) - Fiserv Inc. (FISV) reported earnings for its second quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $245 million, or $1.08 per share. This was up from $228 million, or $0.95 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.07 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.6% to $1.36 billion. This was up from $1.30 billion last year.
