Pullach, October 15, 2018 - The Supervisory Board of Sixt SE has appointed Jörg Bremer (41) as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to the Managing Board of Sixt SE effective November 1, 2018. He succeeds Dr. Julian zu Putlitz (50), who will leave Sixt at his own request after nine successful years in order to devote himself to new professional challenges outside the company.

After a position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Brose North America, he most recently served as CFO of the Brose Business Division Drives. "Over the past few years, Sixt has shown an impressive operating performance, which has been acknowledged on the capital market with a very positive share price performance. As the new CFO, I am looking forward to actively shaping the future growth path of the company," added Jörg Bremer, designated CFO of Sixt.

As CFO of Sixt SE, Bremer will assume responsibility for Finance & Accounting, Controlling, Investor Relations, Governance, Risk Management & Controls, Taxes, Internal Audit and Legal.

Friedrich Joussen, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sixt SE, said: "Mr Bremer has a great deal of business expertise and many years of experience abroad, which ideally qualify him for the role of CFO at Sixt." With regard to the resignation of Dr. Julian zu Putlitz, he said: "Dr. zu Putlitz has played a very important role in the extremely successful development of Sixt in recent years. Under his leadership, Sixt has earned an outstanding reputation on the capital markets."
