Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown Names Daniel Austin as Client Advisor in Houston Office

Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, the US Private ClientServices (PCS) division of Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and DeutscheBank Private Wealth Management, announced that Daniel Austin has beenappointed as Director and Client Advisor in its Houston, TX office.Austin is responsible for developing and cultivating relationshipswith high-net-worth individuals and target institutions in the area.He will report to Arthur Kieval, PCS's Houston Regional Executive.

Austin has over two decades of investment, sales and bankingexperience working for leading investment management organizations. Hejoins the firm from Smith Barney/Citigroup where he was a Senior VicePresident in the Houston office and previously, worked at JP MorganChase Securities of Texas as a Vice President.

"As we expand our presence in the market, Dan's extensivebackground and valuable client relationships will make him anexcellent addition to our team," said Kieval. "By hiring the bestregional client advisors we are committed to providing our clientswith superior service and investment ideas. Dan's expertise will helpbuild on our existing capabilities."

Austin holds a BA from the University of Texas.
