Dennis Casey Named President of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Dennis W. Casey has been promoted to President of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Indiana.

Located in Indianapolis, Casey is responsible for the management of all group health business in Indiana including sales, account service, marketing, underwriting and product development. Over his 25-year career, he has held a variety of senior management positions with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Indiana. Most recently, he held the title of Vice President and General Manager.

In 2004, Casey helped to form the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Provider Advisory Council, which is comprised of 24 senior level executives from hospitals, physician groups and Anthem representatives. Casey serves in a variety of community leadership positions, including Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Indiana Comprehensive Health Insurance Association (ICHIA), Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Indiana Chapter of the March of Dimes and Board of Directors for the Indianapolis Zoological Society. He and his wife Virginia have three children.
