David Bailin Joins Citi Private Bank as Managing Director and Global Head of Managed Investments

Citi Private Bank announced today that David Bailin will join as Managing Director and Global Head of Managed Investments. Mr. Bailin will be responsible for expanding and distributing Citi Private Bank’s full suite of managed investment products and solutions, including alternative and traditional investments. Mr. Bailin will also be responsible for Citi’s Tailored Portfolio Group that provides discretionary asset management services globally. In this new role, Mr. Bailin will report directly to Jane Fraser, Chief Executive Officer of Citi Private Bank and be based in New York.

Mr. Bailin and Shantanu Rastogi, Citi's Global Head of Investments, will work closely together to develop the most comprehensive investment platform for Citi's clients around the world.

Mr. Bailin was most recently President of Alternative Investment Asset Management for Bank of America Global Wealth & Investment Management that includes Merrill Lynch and U.S. Trust. Before joining U.S. Trust and Bank of America, he co-founded Martello Investment Management, a hedge fund of funds.

Mr. Bailin is a graduate of Amherst College and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
