Check Point Software Appoints Jerry Ungerman to Board of Directors

    REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 2, 2005--Check Point(R) Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced it has appointed Jerry Ungerman to its board of directors, as a vice chairman with executive responsibilities for the company's partner and customer relations. In this new role, Jerry will drive strategic customer and partner initiatives and will serve as a chairman of the company's partner and customer advisory councils. In addition, he will have day-to-day responsibilities as part of the company's executive management team.
