CDW Named Among Best Places to Work by FORTUNE Magazine for Seventh Straight Year

    VERNON HILLS, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 13, 2005--Reaffirming its coworker friendly culture, CDW Corporation (NASDAQ:CDWC) has been named by FORTUNE magazine to its prestigious "100 Best Companies to Work For" annual list for the seventh consecutive year. The company ranks No. 14 on this year's list. This is the sixth consecutive time CDW has ranked among the top 15 - a feat achieved by only one other company in the history of the list.
    CDW, a leading provider of technology products and services to business, government and education, remains the list's highest-ranked FORTUNE 500 company and the highest-ranked Illinois-based company on the list. This year's list was also sub-divided into several categories, including company size. Within these categories, CDW ranked:

--	Fifth in the midsize category, which includes companies with 2,501 to 10,000 employees
--	Seventh in overall percentage of job growth, year-over-year
--	Seventh among companies with the most widely-used day care

The rankings appear in FORTUNE's January 24, 2005 issue, which is scheduled to be available at newsstands January 17.
