BMC Software CIO Joins CTO Forum’s CIO Council Advisory Board
The CTO Forum today announced that BMC Software’s (NASDAQ:BMC) chief information officer, Mark Settle, has been appointed to its CIO Council Advisory Board. The CIO Council brings together senior information technology executives from leading organizations to foster discussion and collaboration regarding the advancement of technology and innovation within organizations.

Settle joined BMC in June 2008 and has been instrumental in driving the Software giant’s IT transformation from a physical to highly virtual, cloud computing IT environment. Prior to joining BMC, Settle served as the CIO of Fortune 300 companies, Corporate Express, Arrow Electronics, Visa International, and Occidental Petroleum.
