Barnes & Noble And Microsoft Announce Exclusive NOOK For Windows 8.1 Offer In UK
(RTTNews) - NOOK Media LLC, a subsidiary of Barnes & Noble Inc. (BKS), together with Microsoft Corp.(MSFT) announced a limited time free eBook and magazine offer through the NOOK App for Windows 8.1 in the United Kingdom. The company said that the exclusive deal enables customers who download the app to choose up to five free popular books and five free top magazines from a select list.
Recently, Barnes & Noble announced that the NOOK App for Windows 8.1 is available to Windows 8.1 PC and tablet customers in 32 countries and in 12 languages through the Windows Store. The free app combines NOOK's reading experience with shopping directly from the app, so customers from 32 countries around the globe can discover, explore and read a growing and diverse selection of books, magazines, newspapers and comics from any Windows 8.1 tablet or PC.
