Amazon India Signs Pact To Fast Track SME Growth
(RTTNews) - E-commerce major Amazon India has signed an agreement with the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) aimed at encouraging small businesses grow their business profitably online.
Amazon India is a fully-owned subsidiary of US-based e-commerce platform Amazon.
Amazon Seller Services Private Ltd (ASSPL) and the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) will jointly work towards spreading awareness on the enormous potential of e-commerce for SMEs and empower them to leverage numerous opportunities India's growing digital economy offers, the company said in a release.
The initiative aims at transforming the lives of many entrepreneurs and the way India sells, it added.
The two will also provide SMEs with necessary online selling and marketing training as well as faculty support. In addition, training infrastructure, including classrooms and hand-holding and guiding services will be provided.
