Allstate Announces Estimated Catastrophe Losses For April - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - The Allstate Corp. (ALL) announced estimated catastrophe losses for the month of April 2014 of $280 million, pre-tax ($182 million after-tax). The company said the catastrophe losses occurring in April comprised six events at an estimated cost of $250 million, pre-tax, plus unfavorable reserve reestimates of prior reported catastrophe losses.
