Hamburg, 26 March 2015. Hawesko Holding AG (HAW GR, HAWG.DE, DE0006042708) announces that the management board and supervisory board will propose a dividend of € 1.30 per share for fiscal year 2014 to the annual general meeting of shareholders. In the previous year a dividend of € 1.65 per share was paid; this year's dividend is 21% lower than in the previous year. The dividend for 2014 thus corresponds to a payout ratio of 79%, compared to 92% in the previous year.
The result from operations (EBIT) in the first quarter (1 January - 31 March 2015) has been expected to be in a range between € 3.0 million and € 3.5 million (same quarter in the previous year: € 3.8 million). In its meeting today the supervisory board came to an agreement with the chief executive officer of the company, Alexander Margaritoff, that he would resign his position as chief executive as well as all other offices in the Group with effect from 30 April 2015. The successive future payout of his contract gives rise to a non-recurring provision in the amount of € 6 million; as a result the Hawesko management board expects a negative consolidated EBIT of € 3.0 to € 2.5 million overall for the first quarter of 2015.
