BRAZIL: Economists Keep Forecast For 2017 GDP Growth Unchanged At 0.34%

(RTTNews) - Economists surveyed by the Brazilian central bank kept unchanged their forecasts for economic growth in 2017, at 0.34%, for the fifth consecutive week. For 2018, the median forecast for GDP growth remained at 2.00% for the sixth week in a row.

Projections for Brazil's debt-to-GDP ratio in 2017 remained at 51.70%, while for 2018 forecasts fell to 55.13%, from 55.24% last week.

Projections for Brazilian industrial output growth in 2017 rose to 1.03%, from 0.81% last weeks. For 2018, economists estimates fell for the fourth week, to 2.01%, from 2.06% last week.
