Moody's says Hanger's delayed 10-K filing has negative credit implications
New York, March 18, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service said Hanger, Inc.'s (Hanger, Ba3 stable) delay in filing its annual form 10-K statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission is credit negative. On March 17, 2014, Hanger's 15-day extension period to file its financial statements for the year-ended December 31, 2013, expired. The delay is due to Hanger being unable to complete, within the prescribed period, the testing and assessment of new internal controls.
