New York, May 24, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") affirmed Computer Sciences Corporation's ("CSC") senior unsecured rating at Baa2 following the company's announcement that it plans to merge with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company's Enterprise Services business ("HPE Services") in a tax free transaction. The boards of directors of both companies have approved the transaction. CSC expects the merger to close by the end of March 2017, subject to customary conditions including regulatory approvals. The outlook is stable.
