New York, July 22, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service has today downgraded Banco Barclays S.A.'s (Barclays Brazil) bank financial strength rating to D-, from D, and lowered its standalone baseline credit assessment (BCA) to ba3, from ba2. On the same date, Moody's affirmed the bank's local and foreign currency deposit ratings of Baa3 and Prime 3, long- and short-term, respectively, and the Brazilian national scale deposit ratings of Aa1.br and BR-1, long- and short-term, respectively. The outlook on all ratings continues to be stable.
