Sao Paulo, May 23, 2013 -- Moody's America Latina assigned long and short-term local currency issuer ratings of Baa3 and Prime-3, respectively, to Agência de Fomento do Paraná S.A. (Fomento Paraná), a development agency owned by the state of Paraná. At the same time, Moody's also assigned to Fomento Paraná national scale issuer ratings of Aa1.br and BR-1, long and short-term. The outlook on all ratings is stable. This is the first time Moody's assigns ratings to Agência de Fomento do Paraná.
