Yelp Q4 Loss Narrows - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Yelp, Inc. (YELP) Wednesday said fourth-quarter loss narrowed to $2.1 million or $0.03 per share from $5.3 million or $0.08 per share in the same period last year.

On average, 25 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.03 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues jumped 72 percent to $70.7 million from $41.16 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $67.27 million.

Looking ahead to the first quarter, the company has forecast revenues in the range of $73.5 million to $74.5 million. Analysts currently expect first-quarter revenues of $73.25 million.

For the full year of 2014, revenues are projected in a range of $353 million to $358 million. Analysts currently expect full-year revenues of $347.85 million.
