Wipro Q4 Profit Increases - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Wipro Ltd. (WIT) reported that its profit attributable to equity holders of the company for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015 was 22.72 billion Indian rupees or $366 million, an increase of 2% from the last year's 22.27 billion rupees.

Earnings per equity share was 9.21 rupees or $0.15, up from 9.04 rupees in the previous year.

The IT Services segment had a headcount of 158,217 as of March 31, 2015. It added 65 new customers during the quarter.

Non-GAAP constant currency IT Services Revenue in dollar terms grew 1.2% to $1.819 billion.

Total revenues were 121.4 billion rupees or $1.9 billion, an increase of 4% from the prior year.

Looking ahead for the first-quarter, the company expects revenues from its IT Services business to be in the range of $1.765 billion to $1.793 billion.
