Whirlpool Corp. Earnings Advance 1% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Whirlpool Corp. (WHR) revealed a profit for its third quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $238 million, or $3.10 per share. This was up from $235 million, or $2.95 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 0.6% to $5.25 billion. This was down from $5.28 billion last year.
