Weingarten Realty Investors Profit Climbs 12% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Weingarten Realty Investors (WRI) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $70.72 million, or $0.56 per share. This was higher than $63.10 million, or $0.51 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.56 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.8% to $129.65 million. This was up from $126.10 million last year.
