Verisilicon Licenses ZSP400 and Forms Strategic Partnership With LSI Logic to Offer Turnkey SoC Solutions

MILPITAS, Calif., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The DSP Product Division of LSI Logic Corporation and VeriSilicon Holdings Co., Ltd. (VeriSilicon) today announced that VeriSilicon, a leading fabless ASIC design foundry focusing on providing semiconductor intellectual property (IP), design services and turnkey services, has licensed the ZSP400 digital signal processor (DSP) core to strengthen its IP portfolio. The core is available immediately for customers designing complex System-on-a-Chips (SoCs). VeriSilicon has also joined the ZSP Solution Partner program as a "ZSP Authorized Design Center." VeriSilicon has its primary operation in Shanghai, China and operation centers in Silicon Valley, Calif., United States; Taipei, Taiwan; and Tokyo, Japan to service worldwide customers.
