Urban Outfitters Q2 Profit Meets Estimate - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Apparel retailer Urban Outfitters, Inc. (URBN) reported second-quarter net income of $67.5 million or $0.49 per share, compared to $76.4 million or $0.51 per share for the year-ago quarter. On average, 35 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.49 per share.

Net sales for the latest second quarter rose 7% to $811.25 million from $758.52 million in the comparable quarter last year, while 33 analysts had a consensus revenue estimate of $806.99 million for the quarter.
