Univision Promotes Highly Successful Sales Executives to General Manager Posts of Capitol Cities in California and Texas; Maelia Macin Promoted to GM in Texas - Austin Univision and TeleFutura

Steve Stuck Promoted to GM in California - Sacramento Univision and TeleFutura

Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE:UVN), the leadingSpanish-language media company in the United States, announced today that Maelia Macin and Steve Stuck have both been promoted to General Manager - Macin for Austin Univision and TeleFutura and Stuck for Sacramento Univision and TeleFutura. They will report to Michael Wortsman, President of Univision Television Group.

As part of its company-wide retention and training efforts,Univision runs an Executive MBA Recruitment program to attract the topgraduates from the best MBA programs in the country. Although Macinand Stuck were not part of this program, five graduates currently runUnivision television stations, with many others serving in variousexecutive positions throughout Univision. Macin and Stuck participatedin the Univision Sales Training program, implemented in 1997 toestablish a solid foundation in the Hispanic market.

Macin has worked with the U.S. Hispanic market for 21 years, thelast 13 at Univision where she has served in varying capacities. Macinsold network integration in Miami and served as Account Executive andLocal Sales Manager at KMEX in Los Angeles. Macin is happy to returnto Austin where she studied and started her career. Her husband andtwo sons will join her.

With 20 years of media experience, Stuck started his career atUnivision in 1991 as the National Sales and Promotions Coordinator atKDTV in San Francisco. Stuck then moved to Los Angeles and joined thenational spot office as Account Executive. In 1997, he joined KUVS inSacramento as the National Sales Manager. Stuck was promoted to LocalSales Manager in 2001 where he co-managed a team of nine accountexecutives. Later in 2001, he was promoted to General Sales Manager.
