United Rentals Reports 12% Gain In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - United Rentals (URI) revealed earnings for its third quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $215 million, or $2.25 per share. This was up from $192 million, or $1.84 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 0.6% to $1.55 billion. This was up from $1.54 billion last year.
