UPDATE ON THE ANNUAL RESULTS
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2010

Reference is made to the annual results announcement for the year ended 31 December 2010 ("Annual Results Announcement”) dated 30 March 2011, the annual report 2010 dated 28 April 2011 ("Annual Report”) and the announcement dated 25 July 2011 regarding the update on the annual results for the year ended 31 December 2010 of United Company RUSAL Plc ("UC RUSAL” or the "Company”). Unless otherwise specified, capitalised terms in this announcement shall have the same meanings as the defined terms in the Annual Report.

On 10 August 2011, Norilsk Nickel published its audited consolidated financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2010, prepared in accordance with IFRS ("Audited 2010 Norilsk Nickel Financial Statements”) on its own website. Accordingly, the management of the Company has reviewed the Audited 2010 Norilsk Nickel Financial Statements and is of the view that it has no impact on the Company’s published consolidated financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2010 (as stated in the Annual Results Announcement and the Annual Report), except for the disclosure of the summary of the consolidated financial statements of associates presented in Note 17 "Interests in Associates” thereof. The Company has consulted with its joint auditors on the relevant assessment and they concurred with the Company’s conclusion.

The consolidated financial statements of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2010 are required to be updated to reflect the availability of the Audited 2010 Norilsk Nickel Financial Statements and their effect on certain disclosures as mentioned above and also to reflect the subsequent events that took place after 30 March 2011 (being the date of approval of the consolidated financial statements of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2010 published on 30 March 2011).

On 26 August 2011, the board of directors of the Company has approved the updated consolidated financial statements of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2010. On the same date, the Company’s joint auditors have issued an unqualified auditors’ report on the Company’s updated consolidated financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2010.
