Undeclared Egg Allergen Alert: Select President's Choice® Breaded Shrimp

BRAMPTON, ON, Dec. 19, 2017 /CNW/ - Loblaw Companies Limited is advising customers who have an allergy to egg not to consume select President's Choice® Breaded Uncooked Butterflied Shrimp with UPC 060383739270, President's Choice® Coconut Shrimp with UPC 060383998493 and President's Choice® Tempura Torpedo Shrimp 060383156725. The product may contain egg allergens that are not declared on the label, which could pose a health risk for anyone with egg allergies.

The products were sold at the following locations prior to December 20, 2017.

Ontario: Fortinos®, Loblaws®, No Frills®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Shoppers Drug Mart®, Valu-Mart®, Wholesale Club®, Independent®, Zehrs® and affiliated independent stores

Atlantic: Dominion®, Independent®, No Frills®, Shoppers Drug Mart®, Atlantic Superstore®, Wholesale Club®, and affiliated independent stores

Québec: Maxi®, Maxi & Cie®, Provigo®, Axep®, Intermarché®,Pharmaprix®, Club Entrepôt® and Provigo le Marché®

West: Extra Foods®, No Frills®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Shoppers Drug Mart®, Wholesale Club®, Independent® and affiliated independent stores

Customers with egg allergies are advised not to consume the products and to return them to the store, where the customer service desk will provide a full refund.
