Total System Services Announces 22% Gain In Q1 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Total System Services (TSS) reported a profit for its first quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $120.71 million, or $0.66 per share. This was higher than $98.96 million, or $0.54 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.61 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 11.7% to $739.38 million. This was up from $662.16 million last year.
