Time Warner Cable Announces Expansion Of Unlimited Free Calling Plan To India

(RTTNews) - Time Warner Cable Inc. (TWC) said that it has added India to its growing list of international destinations included in its Unlimited Home Phone National calling plan.

With this calling plan expansion, unlimited calls can be made to India at no additional charge and are treated the same as long-distance calls anywhere in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico, China and Hong Kong.

Noting that one third of all international calls from the U.S. are placed to India, Jeff Lindsay, GM for Home Phone at TWC, said this enhancement offers tremendous benefits and savings to anyone who calls India to stay connected to loved ones.

"Calling friends and family in India is now 100 percent hassle-free - no calling cards, no pins, no per minute charges and no contracts," said Lindsay. "For one low monthly price, customers of TWC's Unlimited Home Phone National Plan get free and unlimited calling to any Indian landline or mobile number, anytime of the day or night. Combined with our Phone 2 Go app that offers even more convenience and mobility, there's simply no better choice for international calling today."

TWC's Home Phone National Plan includes popular features such as Caller ID, Call Waiting, 3-Way Calling, Selective Call Acceptance, Selective Call Blocking, Selective Call Forwarding, Answer Anywhere, Enhanced 911 and many others. Additionally, with TWC's Phone 2 Go app, Home Phone customers can enjoy texting, voice and video calling to India from virtually anywhere in the world at no extra cost using their smart phone and a WiFi connection.
